Tijjani Reijnders is happy after his first days with AC Milan.
The former AZ Alkmaar midfielder joined the Rossonero earlier this week.
"The first day was very nice, I spoke to (coach Stefano) Pioli and my teammates," Reijnders told TMW.
“I'm a modern midfielder, box to box, who can both come forward and come back to defend. My qualities are best seen in the offensive phase.
“There had been negotiations with Pioli, Moncada and they wanted me to come here to play as a midfielder. It was a decisive yes and it's great to play here.
“Pioli wants to play with two midfielders who are able to open the lines and lend a hand in attack, then we need a player who defends, and we have to work on this and find balance."
The 24-year-old added: “I spoke to several people and one of them told me that I have all the skills to do well in Italy, Serie A is perfect for growing and I didn't have to think twice."
