Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff is open to a loan move away.
This summer a clutch of EFL clubs are keen on Longstaff while Scottish Premiership sides such as Kilmarnock and St Mirren were observers of his progress last term.
When asked on what comes next, Longstaff told the Evening Chronicle: "I'll have to wait and see.
"I will take every chance I get.
"The new head coach is here now with his staff.
"When he turned up everybody upped the ante and there was a big swing.
"He has helped out the young lads quite a bit.
"We are all happy to have him here.
"On a personal note if I get chances here great, but if I need EFL football, I will take it.
"I have to wait and see what Newcastle want to do with me."
