Two-time English Premier League winner Paul Parker is hoping he can land a development role with A-League club North Queensland Fury.
The 46-year old former Manchester United right-back, who also won a League Cup and FA Cup with the Red Devils, is currently residing in Darwin working as a part-time coaching consultant for Football Federation NT and hopes the Fury can integrate into the Northern Territory.
''Having an A-League club involved in the game here would add some excitement to the sport, would give players some much needed inspiration,'' Parker told the Townsville Bulletin.
Parker enjoyed a stellar career in England, making over 100 appearances with each of West Ham United, Fulham and Manchester and was a key player in England's 1990 World Cup campaign.
