Aston Villa are working through their academy list ahead of the summer market.
The Birmingham Mail says academy manager Mark Harrison has been working with sporting director Johan Lange and under-23 boss Mark Delaney over the past few weeks ironing out the futures of Villa's crop of talented teenagers.
Villa look set to release as many as nine under-23 players this summer. Of those, Michael Tait, Charlie Farr and Jake Walker are still representing Villa at under-23 level, with all three in action last week against Newcastle's under-23s at Bodymoor Heath.
Jack Clarke (Chesterfield), Ben Guy (Portadown) and Callum Rowe (Hereford) are all currently out on loan ahead of their respective deals at Villa expiring next month.
Elsewhere, midfielder Lewis Brunt is also expected to depart with the 20-year-old not featuring in Delaney's last two squads against Middlesbrough or Newcastle.
