Arsenal defender Saliba 'proud' of victory at Man Utd

Arsenal defender William Saliba was pleased with their 1-0 win at Manchester United.

Saliba admits he was particularly happy with the clean sheet.

“It wasn't easy today because it's a good team and it's really hard to come and take the three points here," he told arsenal.com. “We suffered a lot. We didn't play well as always, but when we are not at our best, we have to stay strong. We don't want to lose or draw, and today we did very well at the end and we took the three points.

“It was another strong performance defensively from the team. I think it's not only the defence, it's everyone, the midfield and the attackers. We defend all together and we have to be happy to keep a clean sheet because it's not every time they don't score here. We are so happy and we need to keep going, keep going, and keep going.

“I'm proud because I played well today, and because of my teammates as well. They helped me every time, so it's easy to perform in this team. From there, I want to keep going, I want to keep performing and keep progressing, and I will do my best."

Saliba added: “I hope it will be a good week for us, but we have to pray.

“We have to believe, and we have to win against Everton. We have to watch as well on Tuesday what's going to happen in Tottenham, so let's see."
