AC Milan signing Filippo Terracciano has posted a brief farewell to former club Hellas Verona.
Terracciano joined Milan on Monday in a permanent transfer.
"Thank you very much Verona, you will always be in my heart," he said.
The official press release read:
"AC Milan is pleased to announce on its official channels that it has permanently acquired the sporting services of the footballer Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona FC. The Italian defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2028.
"Born in Verona on 8 February 2003, Terracciano grew up in the youth sector of Hellas Verona, a club with which he made his debut in the First Team on 15 December 2021 in the Hellas Verona-Empoli Italian Cup match. His debut in Serie A came shortly afterwards, on 20 March 2022, during the 1-1 drawn match again against Empoli. Since then he has made 39 league appearances, including 18 in the current season.
"On 19 November 2022, after having completed his career in the Italian youth national teams, he made his debut with the Under-21 national team in the friendly match against Germany.
"Filippo Terracciano will wear the Rossoneri shirt number 38."
